PROJECTS
01| Chavonne village restoration plan
The Chavonne ex-industrial area is part of the Villeneuve town (not so far from Aosta) and it is property of the Regional Council.
The purpose of the restoration is to provide new functionalities to the old buildings so that they may be used for activities such as manifacture, production facilities and the construction of a new multi-purpose centre.
To reach this target some of the buildings were refurbished or renovated, while others were built a new using the original style of the area so as not to create contrasts between the old and the new buildings
03|Degree thesis: "solar collectors in
architecture"
Usually, the installation of Solar Collectors in buildings is left to technicians. Unfortunately this solution tends to be not esthetically pleasing and also can add considerable weight to a structure.
The first part of this thesis is a description of solar collector technology and a study of some good examples of integration into building in Europe.
The second part concerns the use of solar modules for integration into houses belonging to or produced by A.T.C Turin
